The printed circuit board IBM 2 is an INTERBUS master connection of the
th
4 generation in PC104 format. It can be used for the connection of sim-
ple sensors and actuators as well as of intelligent field devices via the
INTERBUS. The INTERBUS permits bridging of distances of up to 12.8
km (from the connection point to the last connected remote bus user),
divided in segments of up to 400 m.
