Managing local directory groups

You can add, edit and delete contact groups in the
local directory.

Adding contact groups
To organize your contacts and make them easier to find, you
can add additional groups in the local directory.
When you add a group in the local directory, you can specify a
ring tone for this group.
Procedure:
1. Navigate to Directory
2. Tap > Local Directory
3. Tap after Custom Grouping
4. Enter the desired group name
5. Tap OK
6. Tap after the group name and then tap Ring to specify a
ring tone for the group
7. Tap the desired ring tone in the pop-up dialog box
8. Tap OK
Editing contact groups
You can change the group name at any time.
Procedure:
1. Navigate to Directory
2. Tap > Local Directory
3. Tap after the desired group and then tap Rename
4. Enter the group name in the highlighted field
5. Tap OK
Deleting contact groups
You can delete a group from the local directory at any time.
Procedure:
1. Navigate to Directory
2. Tap > Local Directory
3. Tap after the desired group and then tap Delete. The
phone screen prompts you whether to delete the group
4. Tap OK

Managing local directory contacts

You can add, edit and delete contacts in the local directory.
You can delete a contact or all contacts from the
local directory.

Adding contacts
You can add 100 contacts to your local directory. You can set
other information for your contact, including:
• Specify an account to use when calling this contact
• Specify a ring tone for this contact
• Specify a contact photo for this contact
Procedure:
1. Navigate to Directory
2. Tap
3. If you want to add a contact to the specified contact group,
tap Local Directory to select the desired contact group
4. Tap
5. Enter the name and the office, mobile or other numbers in
the corresponding fields
6. Select the desired account from the Account field
7. Select the desired ring tone from the Ring Tone field
8. Select the desired photo from the Photo field
9. Tap
If the contact already exists in the local directory, the phone
will prompt "Contact name exists!"
Editing contacts
You can change or add more information to your contacts at
any time.
Procedure:
1. Navigate to Directory
2. Tap
3. If you want to edit a contact from the specified
contact group, tap Local Directory to select the desired
contact group
4. Tap after the desired contact
5. Tap the desired field to edit the contact information
6. Tap
