This section describes the keys on the operation panel, and their functions and locations.

Chapter 1
Turns the machine ON and OFF. Before turning ON the machine,
make sure the scan unit is closed. When turning ON and OFF, keep
the key pressed for at least one second.
Switches the machine to scan mode. In scan mode, the machine
scans a document to your computer according to the settings
selected. This key is used when the machine is connected to a
computer.
Switches the machine to photo print mode.
Switches the machine to Photo Index Sheet mode.
Accesses the settings to customize operation of your machine.

Scroll through menu selections, and increase or decrease the number
of copies or the image file number.
Selects or confirms settings. Also, press this key to recover to
standby mode after correcting paper jams and other errors that stop
printing.
Enter numerical values such as the number of copies, as well as fax/
telephone numbers and characters.
Starts color copying, scanning, or faxing.
Starts black & white copying, scanning, or faxing.
