CAUTION!
Please note the safety instructions in chapter "Important Notes" on
page 7.
Do not expose the server to extreme environmental conditions (see
section "Technical Data" on page 5). Protect it from dust, moisture, and
heat.

Provide at least 200 mm of clearance in front of and behind the server to
ensure adequate ventilation of the system. Do not cover the ventilation
areas of the monitor and the server.
3.1
Installation Steps
Ê Unpacking the server (see next section "Unpacking the Server" on page 18).
Ê Setting up the server (floorstand model) or mounting the server into the rack
(rack model) (see the layout arrangement created with System Architect on
the order lists).
Ê Connect the cables to the server according to the desired (rack) configu-
ration. Please also refer to section "Instructions on Connecting and Discon-
necting Cables" on page 44.
When mounting the rack model, refer to the information in section "Leads
Routing" on page 42.
Ê Connect the server to the power supply (see section "Connecting the Server
to the Mains" on page 43).
