Status Light

The status light indicates the state of the Stratagy IVP8:
Off
Blinking Amber
Red
Green
Green with Blinking Amber

Voice Port Status Lights

Each port has a status light labelled 1~8 on the front of the Stratagy IVP8 unit that indicates the
hookswitch and ring states of the port. The lights are On/Off based on the following:
Off
Green

Software

The Stratagy IVP8 requires Stratagy Admin software, installed on a separate IBM-compatible
computer, for local or remote administration and maintenance. Some basic administrative
functions (e.g., adding User IDs, resetting passwords) can be performed by the System
Administrator using a touchtone telephone (see the System Administrator Guide on the Stratagy
Library CD-ROM for details).
The Stratagy Admin screens for Stratagy IVP8 are identical to the standard Stratagy screens with
the exception of the Main Menu and the Users Menu Options screen.

At boot-up:
No power
Power-on, self-test
Failed self-test. The port LEDs indicate which test(s) failed:
