In the dishwasher
Do not clean the VORTEX together with very dirty dishes.
• Place the inhalation chamber
and the mouthpiece upright in
the crockery basket.
• Place all the other parts in the
crockery basket as well.
• Select at least a 50 °C pro-
gramme.

4.3 Disinfection

Once they have been cleaned, disinfect the VORTEX and
accessories as described in the following.
CAUTION
A damp environment may encourage the growth of bacteria.
Therefore, remove all parts from the pot or disinfector as
soon as disinfection has finished. Dry the parts. The risk of
infection is reduced when the parts are dried completely.
In boiling water
• Place all the individual parts in boiling water for at least
5 minutes.
Use a clean pot and fresh water with reduced calcium
content, if possible.
Plastic will melt if it comes into contact with the hot base of
the pot. Therefore, make sure there is plenty of water in the
pot. This way you will avoid damaging the components.
• You can remove excess water more quickly by shaking all
parts.

If I need to puffs do I squirt both in the vortex or one at a time?

You should actuate the metered dose inhaler just before inhalation, not both puffs at once. Each puff should be taken separately, followed by four breaths through the mask or mouthpiece.
