    – 10 – INHALATION 3.1 Funktionskontrolle Durchgängigkeit des Ventils Überprüfen Sie nach Erhalt der VORTEX, ob das Ventil im Mundstück durchgängig ist: • Lassen Sie Leitungswasser durch den Lippenansatz in das Mundstück laufen. Das Wasser sollte aus den seitlichen Öffnungen im Mund- stück wieder austreten.

    – 11 – 3.2 Inhalation vorbereiten WARNUNG Da die Inhalierkammer der VORTEX nicht vollständig ge- schlossen ist, können Kleinteile hineingeraten, die beim In- halieren eingeatmet werden könnten (Erstickungsgefahr). Stellen Sie deshalb vor jeder Benutzung sicher, dass sich keine Fremdkörper in der VORTEX befinden.

  • Page 13 – 13 – Verwendung mit Einhand-Bedienhilfe Für eine leichtere Bedienung der VORTEX ist in einigen Pro- dukt-Sets eine Einhand-Bedienhilfe enthalten. Da die Dosieraerosole in ihrer Form und Größe nicht ge- normt sind, kann es in einzelnen Fällen vorkommen, dass sich das Dosieraerosol nicht mit der Einhand-Bedienhilfe auslösen lässt.

    Andernfalls kann die Therapie durch austreten- des Aerosol beeinträchtigt werden, z. B. durch eine Unter- dosierung. Für mögliche Nebenwirkungen durch austreten- des Aerosol lesen Sie bitte die Gebrauchsanweisung des je- weiligen Medikaments. Bei Erwachsenen genügt ein Atemzug, um das Medikament aus der VORTEX einzuatmen.

  • Page 16 – 16 – Bei Verwendung mit Einhand-Bedienhilfe: • Greifen Sie mit einer Hand so um die VORTEX, dass die Finger locker auf der Einhand- Bedienhilfe liegen. • Nehmen Sie das Mundstück zwischen die Zähne und um- schließen Sie es mit den Lip- pen.

    – 17 – REINIGUNG UND DESINFEKTION Reinigen Sie alle Produktbestandteile und das verwendete Zu- behör regelmäßig, bei sichtbarer Verschmutzung direkt nach der Anwendung. Desinfizieren Sie alle Einzelteile mindestens einmal wöchent- lich, im Falle einer akuten Infektion einmal täglich. 4.1 Vorbereitung •...

    – 18 – In der Geschirrspülmaschine Reinigen Sie die VORTEX nicht zusammen mit stark ver- schmutztem Geschirr. • Positionieren Sie die Inhalier- kammer und das Mundstück senkrecht im Geschirrkorb. • Stellen Sie auch alle übrigen Teile in den Geschirrkorb. • Wählen Sie mindestens ein 50 °C-Programm.

    – 19 – Mit einem handelsüblichen, thermischen Desinfektionsgerät für Babyflaschen (keine Mikrowelle) Verwenden Sie für eine wirksame Desinfektion ein thermisches Desinfektionsgerät mit einer Laufzeit von mindestens 6 Minu- ten. Für die Durchführung der Desinfektion, die Dauer des Desinfektionsvorgangs sowie die erforderliche Wassermenge beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung des verwendeten Des- infektionsgerätes.

    – 31 – 3.2 Preparing for inhalation WARNING Since the inhalation chamber of the VORTEX is not com- pletely closed, small particles can get in, and might be breathed in during an inhalation session (choking hazard). Therefore, it is imperative to make sure there are no foreign bodies inside the VORTEX before every use.

  • Page 33 Use with one-handed operation aid Some product sets include a one-handed operation aid to as- sist with operating the VORTEX. Since the shape and size of metered dose inhalers has not been standardised, it is possible in some cases that the metered dose inhaler cannot be actuated with the one- handed operation aid.

    For possible side ef- fects of escaping aerosol, please read the instructions for use of the medication in question. For adults, one breath is enough to inhale the medication from the VORTEX.

L'acqua dovrebbe fuoriuscire dalle aperture laterali nel boc- caglio.

Disinfettare tutti i componenti almeno una volta alla settimana e, in caso di infezione acuta, una volta al giorno.
