Note: DSP and ISDN monitor
The DSP monitor is only available on RMX 1800 with one DSP card and RMX 1800 with three DSP
cards, and ISDN monitor is only available on RMX 1800 with three DSP cards.
The following table describes the power unit status.
Status
Description
Normal
Inserted power units work normally.
Abnormal
At least one of the inserted power units work abnormally.
To troubleshoot the power unit in Abnormal status:
» The power unit status changes to Abnormal in one of the following cases:
One of the power units is not connected to the power supply.
The system beeps because it detects a power unit inserted without a power supply connected to
it. You can either connect the power unit to the power supply, or remove it from the system.
One of the power units is removed.
One of the power units fails.
Remove or replace the problem power unit. Power units are hot swappable; you don't need to
restart the system for it to work.
Plug in the power cable again to dismiss the Abnormal status.
