4.4 Cleaning and Care
Inspection prior to each use
INFORMATION
Process-related air bubbles may appear in the silicone at the edge towards
the tool holding fixture, however these do not impair the tool's functionality.
1) Examine the silicone surface of the tool for any damage.
2) Normal signs of wear (rough surface, see Fig. 2, item 2): Clean the
tool if necessary.
3) Severe signs of wear (cracks or holes in the surface, see Fig. 2,
item 3): Dispose of the tool and replace it with a new one.
Cleaning as necessary
1) Clean the tool with clear fresh water.
2) Dry the tool using a soft cloth to swab away the water.
5 Liability
The manufacturer's warranty applies only if the device has been used under
the conditions and for the purposes described. The manufacturer recom­
mends that the device be used and maintained according to the instructions
for use.

1.1 Conception et fonction
Les cônes abrasifs en silicone 749F16 sont un outil conçu pour polir et ar­
rondir les bords des dispositifs médicaux fabriqués avec des matières ther­
moplastiques (emboîtures de prothèses, par ex.). Elles conviennent pour
une utilisation sur des fraiseuses à entonnoir ou des ponceuses.
