1. Press down Time button several seconds until „bI OFF " appears
on the display.
2. Press Time button again, the radio clock
„ON" appears in the display.
3. Press the M button to switch on („ON") or switch off the radio
clock („OFF").
4. Press ON/OFF button to confi rm and return to standby mode, or
if the radio clock is switched off, you can press Time button to
confi rm (continue with step 5).
5. The display shows a fl ashing year.
a. You can press the M button to set the year.
b. Pressing the clock button fl ashes the month. You can press
the M button to set the month.
c. Pressing the clock button fl ashes the day. You can press the
M button to set the day.
d. Pressing the clock button fl ashes the hour. You can press the
M key to set the hour.
e. Pressing the clock button fl ashes the minute. You can press
the M button to set the minute.
f. Please press once again the clock button to complete the
action. Then the date and time you set are shown twice each
in succession before the device returns to standby mode. In
standby mode, the time is displayed permanently.
If you press the On/Off button during the manual time setting,
you will exit the time setting mode. The so far entered date
and time values are kept. „-: - -" appears in the display if you
did not set the time previously.

Switching beep On/Off

There is no beeps sound when you take a measurement using the
device. You can switch on the beeps by making the following
setting.
To switch between „beep off" and „beep on", press and hold the
Time-button until bl and OFF appear fl ashing in the display.
Press the M button to switch between OFF and ON.

radio clock on/off". You can then press On/Off button to confi rm
the beep on/off selection or go with the radio clock on/off settings.
If you select beep „OFF", the beep function remains switched off

Select the measuring mode: standard or MAM mode

This instrument enables you to select either standard (standard
single measurement) or MAM mode (automatic triple measure-
ment). To select standard mode, slide the MAM switch AK on the
side of the instrument downwards to position «1» and to select
MAM mode, slide this switch upwards to position «3».

Connect the cuff to the instrument by inserting the cuff

Connect the cuff to the instrument by inserting the cuff
connector 9 into the cuff socket 4 as far as it will go.
In MAM mode, 3 measurements are automatically taken in
succession and the result is then automatically analysed and
displayed. Because the blood pressure constantly fluctuates, a
result determined in this way is more reliable than one
produced by a single measurement.
After pressing the ON/OFF button 1, the selected MAM mode
On/Off button 1, the selected MAM mode
appears in the display as the MAM-symbol BK.
The bottom, right hand section of the display shows a 1, 2 or 3
to indicate which of the 3 measurements is currently being
taken.
