Step 18: Banister Assembly
View Series (except Cloud)
A: From inside the fort on the top Left hand side of the End Wall measure 3"(76.2mm) up from the top of the floor
boards. Attach 1 (2844) Horizontal using 4 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2" Wood Screws. (fig. 18.1 and 18.2)
B: Measure 15"(381mm) up from the top of the (2844) Horizontal installed in Step A and install a second (2844)
Horizontal using 4 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2" Wood Screws. (fig. 18.1 and 18.2)
C: From inside the assembly evenly space 3 (2840) Ballusters as shown in fig. 9.4 and attach using 4 (S2) #8 x
1-1/2" Wood Screws per board. (fig. 18.4)
D: Repeat to install banister in upper opening on right side of the Back Wall Panel.
