► Advise the patient that the product must not be used if the product or
part of the product exhibits signs of wear (e.g. cracks, deformation,
poor fit) or damage.
The L-shaped pad marks the outside of the ankle.
1) Fold over the support so that the heel can be grasped (see Fig. 1).
2) Pull the support over the foot up to the heel (see Fig. 2).
3) Fold back the section of the support that was folded over, i. e. unroll it
upwards (see Fig. 3).
4) Pull up the support so that the openings in the pads are over the ankle
bones (see Fig. 4).
5) When providing the support to the patient, the proper fit and positioning
of the support must be verified.
4.3 Cleaning
Clean the support regularly.
1) Recommendation: Use a laundry bag or net.
2) Wash the support in 30 °C warm water with standard mild detergent. Do
not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
3) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat (e.g. from the sun, an oven
or radiator).
5 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.

the conditions and for the purposes described. The manufacturer recom­
mends that the device be used and maintained according to the instructions
for use.

the classification criteria outlined in appendix IX of the guidelines. The
declaration of conformity was therefore created by the manufacturer with
