Filling the PD-Tip

Aspirating Liquid
Note:
We recomend that a new PD tip has to
be primed before use. For this, fill the
tip at a minimum with the liquid and then
empty it again. Small air bubbles in the
area of the piston after priming do not
affect the results.
1.
Push the locking/filling lever to the
lower stop.
2.
Immerse the orifice of the PD-Tip
vertically into the liquid to a depth of
3 - 10 mm.

Raise the locking/filling lever slowly
to the upper stop to avoid the forma-
tion of air bubbles.
Note:
Any small air bubble near the piston can
be ignored since a locking mechanism
prevents the residual volume from being
dispensed inadvertently after the final
complete dispensing step.
