SWITCH TO THIRD PARTY CONFIGURATION
When "ThirdPartyConfig" is selected for the Active Profile, the mobile computer must go
through a power cycle (reset) in order to reload the driver and activate settings. After
system reset, Windows Zero Configuration will take over radio and security settings
including SSID, Auth Type, EAP Type and Encryption. The Summit Client Utility can only be
used to define the Client Name, Power Save, Tx Power, Bit Rate, Radio Mode settings, as
well as the global settings.
When "ThirdPartyConfig" is selected for the
active profile, radio settings on the Profile
tabbed page become limited.
After switching to Windows Zero Configuration,
Wi-Fi settings and connection status can be
accessed under Start Screen | Settings |
Connection | Network Card | Wireless
tabbed page.
