6.3.6.2 (Optional) Upgrading Software by Using U-Boot

If the new switch module cannot start properly (repeatedly restarts, or stops during restart and
waits for user response) and the SOL serial port outputs "Can not get config file from smm.
Begin reboot ...", upgrade software by using U-Boot.
Procedure
Step 1 Use a network cable to connect a PC to the management network port (MGMT) of the active
MM910 (the ACT indicator of the active MM910 is on) directly or through a LAN. For
details, see "Logging In to the MM910 CLI Over a Network Port by Using PuTTY" in the
MM910 Management Module V100R001 User
Issue 25 (2019-11-30)
– If the current switch module is CX110, CX111, CX310, CX312, CX710, CX910,
CX911, CX912, or CX915, and the command output contains only VLAN 1,
upgrade the switch module software to the latest version by referring to the
Server V100R001 Upgrade
configuration file by referring to "Restoring the Configuration File" in the CXxxx
Switch Module User Guide.

No user name is required to log in to the MM910 U-Boot. You need to enter only the login password.
