According to the requirements for electromagnetic emission and electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS),
the communication cables are classified into the following categories:
l Category 1 cables: electromagnetic emission cables, such as 220 V power cables, –48 V output
cables of the primary power supply, and –48 V power cables of the cabinet
l Category 2 cables: EMS cables, such as video cables, audio cables, monitoring signal cables, and
user cables
l Category 3 cables: cables with electromagnetic emission and EMS functions, such as HW cables,

loading cables
l Category 4 cables: dedicated cables, such as antenna feeders and RF cables
Do not lay out cables on the heat dissipation holes of the devices. Otherwise, the device

Lay out cables in an orderly fashion. Do not cross or fold cables.
In underfloor cabling mode, the height of cable bundles must not exceed 3/4 of the net
height of the space under the ESD floor.
When the distance between a cable organizer and the cabinet top is greater than 800 mm
(31.50 in.), install a vertical cable ladder to fix the cables, as shown in
Bind cables outside the cabinet with an interval of 200 mm (7.87 in.) between two
adjacent cable ties. Bind cables inside the cabinet with an interval of less than 200 mm
(7.87 in.) between two adjacent cable ties.
