Step 5 Connect to the MM910 over the serial port, and set a static IP address for the MM910:
smmset -t front -d staticip -v static_IP_address subnet_mask
Step 6 Check the software versions of the active and standby MM910s by running the following
command:
smmget -l smm -d version
If the active and standby MM910s are of different software versions, upgrade them to the
same version.
The latest version is recommended. For details about the upgrade, see the
V100R001 Upgrade

6.2 Replacing a Compute Node and Its Components

This section describes how to replace a compute node and its components.
Issue 25 (2019-11-30)
Horizontally insert the MM910 into the chassis. See (2) in
Close the ejector lever on the MM910. See (3) in
Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the M3 captive screw on the MM910. See (4) in
Figure
6-4.
Connect cables to the MM910.
The new MM910 is standby and automatically synchronizes data from the active MM910. However, the
static IP address cannot be automatically synchronized. Therefore, you must assign the static IP address
of the removed MM910 to the new MM910.
To replace both MM910s:
l If both MM910s are operating properly, perform
l If both MM910s fail, reconfigure the MM910s. For details, see the
