Front side
1. Turn off the power, and unplug the power cord from
the outlet.
2. Remove the front panel. (Refer to Section 1-5-1.)
3. Insert the option board into the blank slot.

Check that the option board is securely connected to
the motherboard (MB-1071 board).
Rear side (When there are four slots)
. Remove the two screws, and remove the blank panel by
the handle. (Store the removed blank panel in a safe place)

Rear side (When there are five slots)
. Remove the two screws, and remove the blank panel by
the handle. (Store the removed blank panel in a safe place)
1. Insert the option board into the slot.

. Insert the board into the lower grooves, and then
push the board straight into the slot.
. Check that the option board is securely connected to
the motherboard (MB-1071 board).
2. After inserting the option board into the slot, fix the
option board with two screws.
