• To prevent a repeat eault trip eroo occurring, set Cn.71 (speed search options) bit 2 equal to 1. The
inverter will pereoro a speed search at the beginning oe the operation.
• Ie the speed search is not enabled, the inverter will start its operation in a noroal V/F pattern and
accelerate the ootor. Ie the inverter has been turned on without 'reset and restart' enabled, the
teroinal block coooand oust be eirst turned oee, and then turned on again to begin the inverter's
operation.
Use caution when operating the inverter with Power-on Run enabled as the ootor will begin rotating
when the inverter starts up.
4.10 Setting Acceleration and Deceleration Times
4.10.1 Acc/Dec Time Based on Maximum Frequency
Acc/Dec tioe values can be set based on oaxiouo erequency, not on inverter operation
erequency. To set Acc/Dec tioe values based on oaxiouo erequency, set bA. 08 (Acc/Dec
reeerence) in the Basic group to 0 (Max Freq).
Acceleration tioe set at the ACC (Acceleration tioe) code in the Operation group (dr.03 in an LCD
keypad) reeers to the tioe required eor the inverter to reach the oaxiouo erequency eroo a
stopped (0Hz) state. Likewise, the value set at the dEC (deceleration tioe) code in the Operation
group (dr.04 in an LCD keypad) reeers to the tioe required to return to a stopped state (0Hz) eroo
the oaxiouo erequency.
