NK8021 modem mounting in an NE8000 cabinet
1. Screw in the modem holder brackets using the holes provided in the back of
the cabinet.
2. Slide the modem plate into the brackets.
3. Align the holes in the sides of the modem plate with the clips on the front of the
brackets and then press down on the clips to fix the modem in place.
4. Connect the serial cable to the NK822x.
5. Connect the power supply.
Note: The NK8021 modem is no longer available (end of service period: 31
December 2015).

Installation
1. Install the NK822x unit on the DIN rail.
2. Connect subsystems:
– Subsystem lines using the standard RS232 interfaces on COM1 - COM4.
Note: Only COM1 and COM2 are available on NK8222.
– If used in place of COM1, the RS485 interface is on CN4 (NK822x).
– The LON bus is on CN3.
