CPS Fire Safety
Internet Information Services (IIS) is not pre-installed by default on certain
Windows versions. To install IIS, do the following:
Note: You may need a Windows CD to complete the installation.
1. Select Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows
features on or off.
2. Select the Internet Information Services check box.
Note: This utility is already installed if box is checked. If so, skip to
NK8000 Web Server

3. (Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2 only.) See Table
Installation settings for IIS on Windows Server 2008/2012 R2
settings.
4. Click OK.
5. (Windows Server 2012 R2 only) When installation is completed, configure the
Web Server:
a. Select Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Internet Information
Services (IIS) Manager.
b. Select [Web Server] > ISAPI and CGI Restrictions.
c. Add the ISAPI extension
C:\Program Files (x86)\DMS8000\Communication
Layer\Nk8210WebServer\Nk8210ServerWeb.dll
and select the Allow extension path to execute check box.
d. Select [Web Server] > Application Pools.
