Note:
Although this test requires the configuration of tgen resources, this procedure is
part of the att_winkstart protocol (configured in the next step). The tgen resource
does not have to be explicitly configured in the TMS.cfg file.
c. In the protocol package definitions section, ensure the LOAD statements for the spans
to be tested contain the same package definition and the inbound and outbound spans
are directed correctly:
a. Under Protocol Pkg, enter att_winkstart_proto.cfg for both spans.
b. Under Outline, enter an asterisk (*) for the outbound span.
d. Under the [VPS_LINE_DEF] section, ensure the LINE statements for the spans to be
tested are uncommented, and that they map the correct number of lines to the TMS and
slots:
[VPS_LINE_DEF]
;--------------------------------------------
;
;
;--------------------------------------------
;

e. Under the [RSET_TABLE] section, ensure the RSET statements for the inbound and
outbound RSET profiles are uncommented and are properly assigned to the ranges of
lines:
[RSET_TABLE]
;-----------------------------------------------

Note:
If properly configured, the [TMSMAP] and [VPS_LINE_DEF] sections do not require
modifications. The [SYNC_LISTS] section does not require modification because
the frame synchronizations of the looped-back spans synchronize during the test.
f. Save and close the TMS.cfg file.
5. Run the following command to stop SRP. /etc/rc3.d/S20vps.startup stop Wait for SRP to shut
down.
