Performing a DVD rollout (WIM)
About this task
Use the following steps to perform a DVD rollout of WIM file installation on a server.
Note:
This process wipes the contents of the disks C: and L:/M:, You must save all data off-server
before starting.
Procedure
1. Install update DVD in DVD drive and boot system.
2. If system prompts for "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD...", press the Enter or Return
key.
3. In cmd.exe, perform one of the following steps:
• For 2008: wim-DVD-rollout
• For 2003: wim-DVD-rollout_w2k3
