Checking EMFs

Requirements placed on the EMFs
The EMFs of all stator segments must satisfy the subsequent requirements.
Phase sequence
When rotating in the positive direction, the phase sequence of all stator segments must be
as follows:
EMF phase U – EMF phase V – EMF phase W.
The phase shift of the individual voltages EMF phase U – EMF phase V – EMF phase W
with respect to one another is 120° as shown in the following diagram.
