Note
Observe tightening torque
• Carefully comply with the specified tightening torques and the specifications regarding the
mounting system provided in this document.
1. Prepare the mounting surfaces of the components to be mounted and the machine as
follows:
Carefully remove machining debris, e.g. metal chips, dirt and foreign particles.
2. Correctly insulate the power connections. Otherwise, when rotating, there is a risk of
electric shock due to the induced voltage. Further, short-circuit braking torques can be
generated when phases are accidentally short-circuited.
3. Mount the carrier wheel for the rotor segments.
4. Mount the rotor segments on the carrier wheel for the rotor segments according to
Chapter "Mounting the rotor segments".
5. Mount the stator segments according to Chapter "Mounting the stator segments".
6. Check that the rotor can rotate freely. Ensure that all foreign bodies are completely
removed from the air gap.
7. Connect the coolant lines.
8. Connect the power cables and the signal cables.
