4.2 Adaptation

Open all hook-and-loop closures.
1) Insert the plastic splints in the support.
2) Heat the plastic splints in the support.
3) Apply the support to the wrist after it has cooled off slightly and close the
hook-and-loop closures.
4) Shape the plastic splints manually and wait until they have hardened.
4.3 Application
CAUTION
Incorrect or excessively tight application
Skin irritation due to overheating, local pressure points due to tight applic­
ation to the body
► Ensure that the support is applied properly and fits correctly.
► Do not use the product in case of a known heat allergy.
► When in doubt, do not continue to use the product if skin irritation
occurs.

Open all hook-and-loop closures.
1) Pull the support over the wrist, placing the loop over the thumb. Option­
al: To use the support as an extension stop, remove the plastic palmar
splint.
2) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures (see fig. 1 and see fig. 2).
4.4 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
► Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
1) Remove all plastic splints.
2) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
3) Recommendation: Use a laundry bag or net.
4) Wash the support in warm water at 40 °C with standard mild detergent.
Do not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
5) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight,
stove or radiator).
6) Reinsert the plastic splints in the support.
