9.6 Parallel operation of the CompactPowerMonitor PMC and, for example, the Focus-
Monitor FM+
A measuring device, such as the FocusMonitor FM+, can be connected with the CompactPowerMonitor
CPM via the RS485 interfaces (PRIMES bus). The signal of the CompactPowerMonitor CPM is transmitted to
the PC through the ethernet interface of the FocusMonitor FM+.

NOTICE
Damage/Destruction of the device due to overvoltage
When disconnecting the electric cables during operation (when the supply voltage is con-
nected), voltage peaks can be generated that could destroy the communication modules of
the measuring devices.
X Turn off the power supply before disconnecting the bus cables.
