Parameters
interface-type: Interface type.
interface-number: Interface number.
Description
Use the reset counters interface command to clear the statistics on specific
interfaces.
To obtain interface statistics within specific period of time, you need to clear the existing
interface statistics first.
If neither interface type nor interface number is specified, this command clears the
statistics on all the interfaces.
If only interface type is specified, this command clears the statistics on the
interfaces that are of specific type.
If both interface type and interface number are specified, this command clears the
statistics on the specified interface.
Examples
# Clear the statistics on Ethernet1/1/1.
<Sysname> reset counters interface ethernet 1/1/1
