1.1.22 loopback

Syntax
loopback { external | internal }
undo loopback

Parameters
external: Enables external loopback testing.
internal: Enables internal loopback testing.
Description
Use the loopback command to enable Ethernet interface loopback testing.
Use the undo loopback command to disable Ethernet interface loopback testing.
By default, Ethernet interface loopback testing is disabled.
Note:
Currently, the S9500 series do not support external loopback testing.
Loopback testing is required when you test certain functions, such as locating
problems in an Ethernet.
After you enable loopback testing on an Ethernet interface, the interface operates in
full-duplex mode at the highest speed. The interface will return to its original state
when loopback testing is disabled.
