Configure the Ectron TC Simulator to Source mode with the following settings:

Set the Ectron TC Simulator to output 0V.
Click 'Initiate Measurement'. FIFO Records and Acquired Records will increment to 1.

Set Download Records to 1, then click 'Download CSV'.

Open the downloaded csv file using a spreadsheet program. For each channel, calculate the
average of the 10 samples. Write down the values.
10. Repeat this process for the three remaining range settings (1V, 100mV, 10mV) by selecting the
range in the 'Channels' window and repeating the previous steps.
11. When finished, remove the shorting plugs.

This procedure is performed to evaluate the gain error on each channel path.
1.
All EX1401 acquisition parameters and hardware setup remain the same as previous section.
2.
Set the Ectron TC Simulator to output +10V.
3.
Initiate a measurement on the EX1401.
4.
Download the csv file and average the 10 samples from the 16 channels.
5.
Configure the Ectron to output -10V and repeat steps 3 and 4.

Calculate 10V Gain for each channel as

Repeat for the three remaining Range settings (1V, 100mV, 10mV).
Change the Clock value to 20000 under the 'Sampling' table.

Now that you have calculated Offset and Gain Coefficients, you are ready to save them in the non-
volatile memory of the EX1401 instrument. This procedure involves manually editing the
calibration coefficients file, which must be performed with care.
In the Soft Front Panel 'Current Full Calibration' section, click 'Download'
