INTRODUCTION

Sullair Portable Air Compressor models offer
superior performance and reliability while requiring
only minimal maintenance.
The compressor is equipped with a Sullair rotary
screw compressor unit.

2.2 DESCRIPTION OF
COMPONENTS
Refer to Figure 2-1.

compressor, electric motor, compressor inlet system,
compressor cooling
compressor discharge system, capacity control
system, instrument panel and electrical system.
The electric motor is direct coupled to the
compressor unit via a flexible coupling. A separate
electric motor-driven fan forces air through the
cooler/aftercooler assembly, thereby removing the
heat of compression from the cooling fluid.
