5.10.3 Adjusting the backrest (Flex 2 seat unit) —
manually using the gas pressure spring
The lever (1) for adjusting the backrest angle is located on
the opposite side from the remote under the armrest. If,
for example, the remote is installed on the right, the lever
is located on the left.
1. Pull the lever upwards. Adjust the backrest to the
required angle.
2. Release the lever again.
The backrest engages again.

5.10.4 Adjusting Backrest Height

The following section describes the procedures for adjusting
the height of the backrest plate.
The sling back is only available in fixed heights of
48 and 54 cm.
• 5 mm Allen key

1. Loosen screws A and B.
Do not remove screws A and B.
2. Adjust component to desired position.
3. Tighten screws.

5.10.5 Adjusting Backrest Width

You can adjust the backrest plate width to a certain degree
by adjusting the front plate, e.g. in order to adjust the
backrest plate in line with the seat cushion. Fairly large
adjustments must be made by a service technician to the
rear plate and are outlined in the service manual for this
mobility device.
