Transmitter Front Panel Indicators

The transmitters have three LED indicators on the front panel. AAP and decorator-style
transmitters also include a female USB mini-type B port.

USB hub connectors (USB Extender Rx only) — The built-in four port hub has four
female USB Type A connectors. The connections are USB 2.0 compatible, providing
+5 VDC at up to 500 mA to connected USB peripherals requiring power.

Front Panel Indicators, USB Extender Transmitters
USB Host connector (AAP and decorator-style Tx only) — Connect a Type A male
to mini Type B male USB cable to the USB port of a PC or laptop. The USB Extender is
USB 2.0 compliant and supports data transfers of 480 Mbps (high speed), 12 Mbps (full
speed), and 1.5 Mbps (low speed).
Power LED — This front panel LED lights to indicate the unit is receiving power.
Link LED — Lights when the transmitter and receiver are successfully connected
together by the twisted pair cabling and both transmitter and receiver are powered.
Host Activity LED — Lights when the transmitter is powered and is communicating
with the host PC.
