The EM-IO-03 expansion module is supplied in a housing for assembly on the lower
slot of the frequency inverter.

This completes the assembly procedure.
When the supply voltage of the frequency inverter is switched on, the EM-IO-03 ex-
pansion module is ready for operation.

Remove the lower cover (1) of the frequency inverter.
The slot for the EM-IO-03 expansion module becomes accessible.
The EM-IO-03 expansion module (2) is pre-fitted in a housing. Do NOT
touch the PCB visible on the back, as modules may be damaged.
Plug the EM-IO-03 expansion module (2) onto the slot (3).

Re-install the lower cover (1).
