10. Toner Filter

10.1 Removing the Used Toner Filter

Caution
• When removing used toner filter, avoid getting toner (new or used) on
your skin. If toner comes into contact with your skin, wash the affected
area thoroughly with soap and water. Hot water will set the toner into the
fabric and make removing the stain impossible.
What You Need
• Accessory hex screwdriver provided with the machine.
• Newspaper or other paper covering a nearby flat surface on which you can place
removed components.
Replacement Message
Replacement of Toner Filter (XXX) is now
necessary. Replace Toner Filter.
"XXX" indicates the color of the toner filter(s).
If "(Black)" appears, replace the black toner filter only.
If "(Cyan, Magenta, Yellow)" appears, replace the toner filters for all three colors.
If this message appears, use the following procedure to replace the unit.
