OVMS: Renault Twizy User Guide
The port is switched ON when the Twizy charges, is below 94% SOC, is still within the CC phase
(i.e. not topping off / balancing), and the charge current is not under user control.
If you set the charge current to level 7, only the original charger will run, but at full power. On
charge stop, SOC >= 94% or topping off (CV phase), the additional charger is switched off.

Regenerative Brake Light Signal (V3.9.1)

Since version 3.9.1, the OVMS can generate a regenerative brake light signal itself, as an alternative
to the SEVCON generated signal.
This still needs a hardware modification, but this modification is much more simple than altering
the SEVCON connector, and it's been proven to work.
The signal is sent on port RB5 = expansion port pin 17, with high level (+5V) = brake light active.
Hardware modification
The hardware modification is nearly the same as for the OVMS 3 module, which has been
documented here:
OVMS v3 Advanced User Guide: Twizy Regen Brake Light Hack
The major difference to the V3 version is you need to use a relay module (relay shield) instead of
the standard car relay, as the V2.x module does not have a 12V switched output capable of driving a
car relay directly.
You will need a 2.0 mm 2x9 PCB connector, plug and cable for your expansion port if you haven't
done this for a SimpleConsole or other hardware add-on yet.
Do not take supply voltage for the relay from the V2.x module. There are 12V relay modules
available that can be fed from the +12V of the car, e.g.

High-Low-Level-Trigger/171269084815
Using these you simply take +12V and GND for the relay module from the vehicle and connect the
relay module control input to RB5.
Everything else is identical to the V3 guide.
Take care to isolate and protect your relay module, e.g. using shrink-on tube.
