ASSEMBLY
Objectives (Fig. 1 & 2)
To install the objectives:
1. Turn the coarse adjustment knob ① (Fig. 1) until the revolving nosepiece is at its lowest position.
2. Through the opening in the top of the stage, remove the nosepiece cap and thread the lowest
magnification objective ② (Fig. 2) onto the nosepiece opening, then rotate the nosepiece clockwise
and thread the other objectives from low to high magnification.
● Always rotate the nosepiece by using the knurled nosepiece ring (Fig 1, ③).
NOTE:
● Keep the caps on any unused nosepiece openings to prevent dust and dirt from getting
inside.
