Set Response Timeout
Use this command to set the maximum amount of time an interface will
wait for a response to a message it sends to a host device. The time base
is 40 ms, so a value of 19 hex sets the timer to 1 second. You can send
this command to 1779-KFL interfaces only. Valid entries are
01 (40 ms) to FF hex (10.2 sec.). Default is 1 second.

shown represents one byte.
Set Attempts
Use this command to set the number of times a KFL will transmit a
message to its host device before the KFL reports a communication error
to the remote station that originated the message. When a KFL transmits
a message, to its host device, it expects an ACK (acknowledgment)
response. When a KFL receives a NAK (Negative Acknowledgment)
instead of an ACK, it retransmits the message until the number of actual
attempts equals the number of attempts set with this command. You can
send this command to 1779-KFL interfaces only. Default is 3.
