Modification History

PCPro keeps a record of all the modifications made to a database file. This record is
known as the Modification History. PCPro also provides the user with the ability to view
this history list. Following is the list of database operations that PCPro records in the
modification history.

For each set an entry is made to the history list. The entry records:

User Name
Display Name
Access Level
Type
Modification
Details
A user can view this modification history via the menu item
. The report can be in either HTML format or Comma Separated
Modification History
Variable (CSV).
The modification history is only saved in the local database when the user
performs File Save or Save As. The modification history is a running list of the
changes. PCPro keeps appending to the list. So, if a user opens a file, makes
some changes, saves and closes the file. In the future, opens the same file and
makes more changes, then the new modification history will be appended to the
old.

Data
Date and time of operation.
The User Name that performed the operation.
The Display Name that performed the operation.
The Access Level that performed the operation.
Identifies the operation type. Set to "Set Date".
The system data ID.
The item changed.
Old value.
New value.
