In PCPro card types are categorized under the following three groups.
Trunk
Represented on the Card Configuration screen as 'blue' cards. Trunk
cards provide interfaces to lines such as PSTN, ISDN, T1, Tie, etc. being
used within the KTS. Trunk cards respectively use trunk ports (e.g., A
COI(8) card makes use of eight trunk ports).
Telephone
Represented on the Card Configuration screen as 'red' cards. Telephone
cards provide interfaces to telephones being used within the KTS.
Telephone cards use telephone ports (e.g., An ESI(8) makes use of
eight telephone ports).
Other
Represented on the Card Configuration screen as 'green' cards. These
miscellaneous cards don't have a direct relationship to a trunk or
telephone. However some cards like Voice Mail under this category use
telephone ports as they are associated with extensions.
