Calibration
Calibration is classified into pH calibration and temperature calibration.
Note
After the power has been first turned ON or the electrode has been replaced, be sure to perform
calibration with a standard solution.
pH calibration
pH calibration is classified into three kinds: auto, basic, and manual.

Tip
Hold down the CAL key in the meas mode. This allows you to directly display the pH cal mode (for
auto or basic calibration only).
Note
Do not reuse any standard solution.
When you enter the hold mode, transmission output becomes the output value specified on the
Setup menu.

When temperature sensor type "SEnSor" is set to "non" on the Setup menu, temperature is
assumed to be 25°C regardless of the solution temperature setting for "SoL.t.
Operation procedure
Enter the pH cal mode from the meas mode.
1. Hold down the HOLD indicator in the meas mode until the HOLD indicator turns
ON.
The hold mode is selected with HLD displayed on the upper left part.
