TROUBLESHOOTING

Functional fault
Insufficient product
output
Poor spray pattern
Product emission on
nozzle holder
Product emission from
gun body
Product emission from
the nozzle
(Gun will not shut off
correctly)

Cause
Nozzle too small.
Product pressure too low.
Gun filter or high-pressure
filter clogged at pump
Nozzle is clogged.
Filter/nozzle pairing does
not match.
The valve rod path is too
short.
Nozzle worn.
Product pressure too low.
The product viscosity is too
high.
The nozzle is partially
clogged.
Seal of nozzle holder
or anti-contact guard
damaged.
Packing in the valve rod
unit leaky
Valve ball is damaged.
Valve seat is damaged.
Remedy
Select larger nozzle.
Increase product pressure.
Clean or replace filter.
Nozzle cleaning
Change filter and/or nozzle.
Replace valve rod unit.
Replace nozzle.
Increase the product pressure at
pump.
Dilute the spray product
in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions.
Nozzle cleaning
Replace seal or set of seals.
Replace valve rod unit.
Replace valve rod unit.
