1.3 NeuraLabel What's New, What's Different, What's the Same

The NeuraLabel 500e was developed as the successor to the original NeuraLabel printer
(NeuraLabel I). This printer uses many of the same engineering concepts as the first
NeuraLabel, while adding some valuable new features and technologies. These sections give a
quick comparison of the two printers. Differences and similarities of the printers are covered so
that users of the original NeuraLabel will have an easy time transitioning to the new device.

1.3.1 Attributes that affect the Print

NeuraLabel 500e has both increased speed and quality. It also has additional features related to
controlling cutting and setting a top margin. The table below depicts some of these differences
as well as similarities.

There are a few other differences to note between the two printers. Critical to know for clients
who are familiar with the original NeuraLabel is that the label media is loaded differently for
NeuraLabel 500e. Other minor differences are listed below.
