1.2.11 Continuous Form Labels

Continuous form labels are fan folded media of "unlimited" or continuous length. One box of this
media is usually 500 to 2000 sheets, depending on media size. The continuous media used by
the NeuraLabel 500e is 8.5" wide. Neuralog works with several vendors to provide certified label
media for the NeuraLabel 500e.

1.2.12 Roll to Roll Labels

An optional role to role solution can be used in lieu of fan folded media. The solution Neuralog
provides includes two rollers. The lower roller holds the blank label stock; a motor turns the
wheel to assist in feeding the labels into the Continuous Form Attachment. The upper roller
accepts the printed stock as it exits the printer; it is also motorized to manage the label rolling
process.

1.2.13 Label Printing Application

A Label Printing Application can create, edit, load and display labels, as well as send these files
to a printer for continuous form print. Label printing applications should have the following
features to work well with NeuraLabel 500e.
 Windows based, W8, W7, VISTA or XP compatible
 Ability to adjust margins so that document fits onto the physical lable
 Ability to scale so that document fits onto the physical lable
 Additional features such as copies, color selection, etc.

1.2.14 Cut Location

NeuraLabel 500e cuts the continuous form label media at the end of a job. The cut must occur
on the label backing near the perforation to avoid getting label glue on the cutter. The desired
location for the cut is usually about 1/32" after the perforation at the end of the print. This will
prevent any "chads" from occurring on the leading edge of the first page of the print. If the cutter
