8.2.2 Jams inside Continuous Form Attachment
The media will not normally jam in the CFA. However in rare circumstances pieces of
label or backing (chads, for instance) may become lodged under the lid of the CFA. If
this happens, turn the printer power OFF. With a small sharp object such as a paper
clip, remove the media pieces from the CFA.
It is also possible for multiple folds of continuous form media to enter the CFA as it is
pulled from the box, resulting in a printer jam. If this happens, move the box further
away from the CFA. For optimal results, the box should be about 12 inches away from
the CFA.
If you have any trouble removing media from the Continuous Form Attachment, contact
Neuralog Support.
8.2.3 Jams inside printer
The NeuraLabel 500e rarely jams. If a jam does occur
soon as the jam is cleared.
If the printer does jam, a message will appear in the operator panel. The media is
removed as follows. Be careful since any toner not yet fused to the media easily comes
off on ones hands and clothes.
If the cut did not occur, tear the continuous form at the perforation closest to the
printer input side.
Open the LEFT printer door, and then from the exit on top of the printer, gently
pull out the continuous form media with two hands. Usually the media will pull
through the printer and completely come out the exit side.
If the continuous form media does not easily pull from the printer, it is because
the fuser has not released the paper. Close and reopen the printer door where
the CFA is attached. This should trigger the fuser to release the media.
After removing the media, press continue on the operator panel

The only known reproducible jamming condition occurs in BW mode, when the printer runs out of paper with
only 4 paper pages remaining.
