Faults concerning Fieldbus interface

No. Cause
70 The fieldbus function is not possible to perform, because
another field bus function is active at the same time
(/parallel function (IO) active and another parallel function
(IO)), e.g. "Measurement start" and "Program switching".
71 The selected sensor for Teach-In is not available.
73 The activated fieldbus function (IO) is not possible or
disabled in the system configuration.
76 The fieldbus function is not possible, because the
measuring mode is set to "demo mode".
77 The fieldbus function is not possible, because the menu
(keyboard operation) is operational.
78 The fieldbus function cannot be executed, because the
equipment detected double sheet (with configuration
"double sheet hold").
79 The selected IP address / baud rate / Subnet / Gateway is
not conclusive.
80 The inserted fieldbus coupler is defective.
81 The commands come too fast via the parameter channel.
82 The fieldbus function is not possible to perform, because a
parallel PLC function is active , for instance, "Teach-In" via
Fieldbus and in addition "Measurement start" via parallel
IO.
83 The parallel function (IO) is not possible to perform,
because a Fieldbus function is active , for instance,
"Measurement start" via the parallel PLC inputs and in
addition "Teach-In" via the fieldbus.
88 The program number activated in the menu program
selection is > 255.
89 The field bus function cannot be executed, because the
parameter channel is active.

the parameter channel is faulty.

Remedy
Implement only one function.
Check whether the correct Bit is selected via the
Fieldbus.
If the function is required, then it should be
selected under systems configuration.
Configure the parameter "measurement operation"
to "external continuous measurement" or "external
single measurement".
Terminate the operation via the keyboard and
return the unit with the MENU key to its basic
mode.
Clear double sheet condition via fieldbus or via
keyboard.
Check IP-address / Baud rate / SubNet / Gateway
Recycle power, if the fault reappears then the
equipment has to be returned to Roland.
Always wait for the results of the parameter
channel transmission before transferring new data.
Avoid simultaneous operation.
Avoid simultaneous operation.
Select valid program number.
Close Parameter channel.
Remedy
Check sensor gap, perform zero adjust if required.
