Event codes and recommendations

Below is a list of the event codes that your LWT instrument might display, should a problem arise. The
first letter of the code refers to NAMUR codes:
• F: Failures
• S: Function check
• C: Out of specifications
• M: Maintenance request

Recommended action
Make sure that the max level rate matches the process.
Check installation, GpC marker position, buildup and
process conditions.
Check installation and parameter adjustments.
Check installation for high vibrations or EMC interference.
Check process conditions and/or device configuration
Wait for calibration to finish.
Check installation or device parameters.
Check installation and coupler connection.
Enter valid parameters.
the sensor should be replaced as soon as possible.
Check process conditions and device configuration.
Restart the device. If condition persists, call aBB for
replacement.
the electronics must be replaced; call aBB.
Check installation and process conditions.
Check the connection between the instrument head and the
coupler.
Check process conditions and device configuration.
Verify instrument functionality and clear the diagnostic
message.
Make sure that power supply voltage at the device terminal
is between 15.5 V DC and 42 V DC.
Check ambient temperature
Use instrument with remote option
Check coupler.
Restart the device. If condition persists, call aBB for
replacement.
the level value produced in output is derived by the value
simulated in input
an alarm condition is being simulated by the device.
Output current is in fixed mode. this could be due to the
device being used in multidrop mode or a simulation.
