Connecting the 230 V supply
The 230 V AC supply voltage is connected via the COMBICON connector provided
(MC 1.5/3-ST1F-5.08, Order No. 1900895).
Supply the module from a suitable Power over Ethernet voltage source.

Connecting the network cable
Insert the network cable in the female connector labeled "HOST".
2.2.8.3
Grounding
All Factory Line devices must be grounded so that the data telegram is shielded from any
possible interference and this can be discharged to ground potential.
A conductor of at least 2.5 mm
the module wiring space via an eyelet ring that is screwed into the location indicated (see
Figure 2-7) or the metal surface to which the mounting plate is attached can be grounded.

Achieving IP65 protection
Place the supplied cable feed-throughs around all cables used (A). Select a suitable cavity
for the cable feed-through (B). All unused cavities must be sealed with filler plugs.
