FUNCTION:Digital Line Interface
This circuit card provides the interface between the NEAX2400 IMS and DRU-23-S3.
INTERFACE:
•
Communication Speed: 1.544 Mbps
•
Line Impedance: 100 ohms
•
The interface wires for this circuit card are accommodated by the LT terminal (on the PIM backplane) as-
sociated with the DLI card's mounting slot.
•
When the DRU-23-S3 is remotely installed using the digital tie line, this circuit card and the PLO (Phase
Lock Oscillator: PA-CK00-B/CK00-B) should be less than 100 meters (328 feet) apart and connected via
two wires.
•
When the DRU-23-S3 is remotely installed using the digital tie line, this circuit card and the PCM carrier
equipment (example: T1 channel bank) should be less than 200 meters (656 feet) apart and connected via
four wires.
