2.4 Check of Battery Operation when Power Supply Failure to the DRU

Unplug the AC cord of the DRU
from the AC outlet
Plug the AC cord of the DRU into
the AC outlet

Confirm that the lamp indications of the DRE card as shown be-
low.

When the lamp indications are as shown above, perform the fol-
lowing loop-back tests.
• Loop-back test between the DLI and the transmission equip-
ment.
(Refer to Paragraph 3.3 in Chapter 5)
Confirm that the system message "13-Q" is displayed.
Confirm that the POWER lamp of the DRU illuminates.
Confirm that the system message "13-R" is displayed.
